AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi who is the star campaigner of party since years, has been outshined by her sister Priyanka Gandhi who is currently touring the poll-bound Uttar Pradesh.

During her three-day tour in Rae Bareli and Amethi, Priyanka grabbed the attention of party cadre, general people and political party leaders. Priyanka's three days campaign has worked in favour of the Congress and produced more impact than Rahul Gandhi's campaigns and padayatras which lasted for months in Uttar Pradesh.

Earlier, there were reports that Sonia and Rahul were against the entry of Priyanka Gandhi into active politics. However, after Priyanka's political campaign in the contituencies Rae Bareli and Amethi which were represented by her mother and brother, those reports were declared as just rumors.
