Condemning the reports in a section of media that Chiranjeevi is insisting on a front row seat for him in Assembly, MLA Vanga Geeta stated that the erstwhile PRP Chief is not keen to sit in front row.
"The Speaker would decide the seats of members in the house. We will abide his decision," said Vanga Geeta.
The election commission (EC) has already declared the merger of PRP with Congress. But the merger process hasn't yet completed in state Assembly. The Speaker will have to take a decision in this matter.
As per the reports, the state government has been intentionally delaying the merger process just to make sure that Chiranjeevi sits in the front row as leader of a political party PRP. If the merger process completes, he will be treated as any other first-time MLA and should go to the back row in the Assembly. The Congress has another plan to avoid this too. Chiru will be made deputy leader of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) to enable him to sit in the front row.
